Hi, all. Relatively new here. I browsed the forum but couldn’t find anything
with regard to my question. I thought I read somewhere on the website that all
Legos sold using this site had to be authentic and had to be brand new. But yesterday
I read something from a specific store about their New Legos and their Used Legos—but
I wasn’t sure how to tell whether the Legos I was interested in were Used or
New. . That made me nervous about using Bricklink as I have no interest in building
with Used Legos. Life is too short for that. Are there any pro tips to help us
know whether the exact Legos from a specific store we want to purchase are Brand
New? Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere.

All items listed for sale on BrickLink must be genuine LEGO, but thankfully they
need not be brand new. If you don't want to build with used LEGO, limit your
searches to items in new condition. For more information about item conditions,

That is wrong. It has to be authentic but it can either be new or used. If it
is sold as new it must be unused. But selling as used, it can be used (obviously).

Look at the condition label, it will either say NEW or USED.

Note that used means it has been used, but not trash. I build with used LEGO
all the time, as once I have attached a brick to another, it is used. It can
still look excellent condition, but it is used. This is why some sellers say
what condition used parts will be in.

You should be able to see New or Used while in a shop. However, I've noticed
for me at least, that I can't see that column while using Chrome. I use Chrome
at 125% zoom, but even if I go to 100% or less, all I get is "ew" in
the condition column. No problem in Firefox, even if I go up to 200% zoom.

Anybody else having this problem? Is it a bug or is it me? I do have the BrickTinker
extension, maybe there's a setting I'm not seeing?
