| Hello all,
I bring some bittersweet news regarding my store, The Brick Archives. I regret
to announce that the store will be closing (possibly indefinitely) on or before
May 5th. This is not our first long-term closure, but it will be the first to
be properly announced. This closure is due to my quickly approaching college
graduation on May 12th. As many may know, I am the second-generation owner of
the Brick Archives, as my father Jason served as owner until I came of age. You
may also know that I am a full-time college student. However recently, due to
coursework and the stress of a frantic job search (entry-level Software Development
jobs are hard to find right now) I have been finding myself with less and less
free time to adequately manage the store. In addition, shortly after I graduate
with my Bachelor's, I plan to start taking courses for my Master's Degree,
hopefully on top of a decently-paying software job. Therefore, come May/June,
I will have even less free time. Therefore, I plan to close the Brick Archives
until at least Summer or Fall of 2024, as by that time I should have completed
my graduate studies (which is an accelerated three-semester program).
As mentioned above, the store will close on or before May 5th. Until then, I
plan to continue my Spring clearance sale. In addition, if you wish to make an
offer for my entire inventory, that is also acceptable, as I plan to start fresh
when I re-open. My current inventory's total sale price is just under $325,
so feel free to message me with offers.
Thank you for a great eight months since I last re-opened, and I hope to see
you all in 2024! (Though, I will still be buying on here for my personal collection
in the meantime)
