What is the best way to adding loose parts from an order to one of my parts lists?
I just found out, you can "Apply Order" to a Wanted list to update it.
That's cool.
(should have known earlier)
But is there a way to also update a parts list with an order?

Currently, I manually add ordered parts 1 by 1 to my parts list.
That's quite a hobby...

Hi,

First, beware: Apply Order has no memory.  That means that if you apply the same
order to multiple Wanted Lists (or multiple times the same Wanted List!), it
acts as if the order was still complete.
For instance, if you have the same lot (item + colour) in two lists, say 2x bricks
in the first WL and 3x in the second, and you buy 4x bricks, Apply Order will
consider both WLs are fulfilled (4 is greater than 2; 4 is greater than 3) while
you’re actually missing one brick (4 is less than 2+3).

Then, if by “parts lists” you mean My Collection, then no, there’s no automatic
application.

For the moment, to make “parts lists arithmetics” (merging, substracting), you
need to use a third-party tool, like BrickStore or Rebrickable.com.
