Opened a sealed set today and there were 2 extra 2x10 white technic bricks in the box (4 in total).

Might be a packaging error, I parted out several a few years ago and content
matched the inventory, just a couple of alternates:

Might be a packaging error, I parted out several a few years ago and content

yes those alternates are the ones that are in my set aswell.
just 2 extra 1x10 white technic bricks.

The inventory note says the inventory was confirmed by randyf also (based on
sealed set contents). So I indeed consider this as a packing error.

Yes, and I actually confirmed the inventory from two sealed books. One of them
was a very early edition from 2008-2009, and one of them was from many years
after that. All of my changes were based on those two books to correct the inventory
problems that were originally there.
