| Buyer has placed 2 orders during my holiday (beginning of August), buyer is from
outside the EU so has to pay import tax above a certain amount.
I have in my terms that I am not responsible for import tax and I am not lying
to customs.
I came back from vacation on August 12th and immediately started packing the
order (all customers knew very clearly before ordering that I was not there and
from when I was going to ship), his shipments were sent on the 14th and with
2.5 weeks arrived. Now the customer had to pay import tax and indicates that
it is my fault because it arrived at the same time, and that it takes a very
long time etc (package has been sent to Ukraine and because of the war it just
takes a long time (I can't do much about it))
Now the customer started blackmailing me that I had to pay him €46 because this
is my fault (customer also buys EX VAT from me so already has 21% tax advantage
(€65 so more than €46).
This buyer also owns a shop on BL and I believe that these kinds of bad apples
should be removed.
Now I try to reach bricklink but get no response on form, feedback removal is
also rejected, while there are just demonstrable lies in it.
Who can help me?

Just say tough luck and move on import tax is always on the buyer.

Sorry to say, nothing personal, but.. why leave your store open during your holiday?
IMO that is taking a risk already. You won't be able to respond quickly to
orders giving buyers a reason upfront for complaining.
|

|
Import tax is always for the buyer, but often not expected. Not much to do about
that, buyers just have to pay it.

Where is the blackmail? You exchanged negative feedback and that's all there
is to it. Bad luck, move on...

This store has good feedback record. No bad apple at all.

There is no reason to remove feedback.

| I have the proof in the mail, because of privacy I can't just post it somewhere.
Bricklink can check this in the order, but what surprises me is how little help
you get from them, contact form filled out but no response, I think I am a paying
user and can I expect something in return. The messages he sends are really contrary
to the police!

| I would chabge your feedback to "Buyers are responsible for import tax". With
a similar reply to the feedback they left. Forget the accusations of blackmail,
just make it clear the buyer was in error.

Then go to the police and file a report. That's what they are there for.
BrickLink is not the police, there's only so much they can do.

Agreed. Leaving a delay before sending is asking for trouble. Much better to
close then reopen when ready.

If you take holidays, it's better to close your shop, even giving an explicit
password like "holidays_delays"...
There's no valid reason for BrickLink to remove those feedbacks unfortunately.
Lies aren't forbidden.
Write something more clear in your Terms about the Buyers' obligation to
pay eventual taxes.
Tehn, just ignore and stop list...
