| Is it normal for bricklink to just completely ignore your tickets, or am i being
to impatient?
We forgot to close down our shop when going on a 3 week holiday, so we had a
lot of issues with outstanding NSS / bad contact, all being fixed now.
But because of this issue, my store is closed and as this is my full time job
/ my income i would like to reopen.
We have now (since the 28th of august) send out 22 different tickets with issues
(some are already solved by the buyer) but still a ton of the tickets are open.
(yes a few have been send today)
Bricklink did not respond on any tickets at all, even though they write to respond
within 2 working days? Every ticket has either a tracking code, proof of shipment
or proof of a refund.
Is there anyone with information about this? Ofcourse most NSS were my mistake,
but we got to fair solutions with every buyer, and as soon as we reopen we will
supply every buyer with a coupon because of these issues.
Any help is appreciated.

I'm sorry but 70+ Neutral/Negatives just for a year isn't normal.
I can't believe someone who says his shop being "my full time job"
can just forget to close it and don't read e-mails for 3 weeks!?
That sounds just silly.
Those complains are for a full year of problems, not 3 weeks - while you reply
giving back Negatives to buyers
IMHO there's more of a fundamental problem either with your terms, your processes
and/or the way you're treating buyers.

I am not saying that is not true. But we are not talking about that right now.
Ofcourse there are more issues and we are working on that. But we were in bosnia,
terrible internet connection. And I just did not check my emails, which resulted
in around 30 negative / neutrals.
The terms state I ship within a week. And most people don't read / complain
about slow shipping. People are free to choose another store if they don't
like mine.
But a lot of bad reviews is not a reason to cancel a store. And especially not
a reason to fully ignore a seller.

|
At the contrary, I think this could be one of the reasons.
See below.
| The terms state I ship within a week. And most people don't read / complain
about slow shipping.
|
Like this one in June? "Took a month to send"
And January: "Shipped 30 days after payment"
It's not "within a week".
Also many signal you ignore/don't receive e-mails.
Take a free e-mail at gmx.com (avoid Hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo), install Thunderbird
or any good e-mail client, and do serious business in reading and replying to
e-mails?
If you don't take time now to review everything from scratch, propose to
BrickLink your new management plan, then simply complaining may not help you
much...
IMHO.

| Sure, my methods have been less than perfect. But every review has a story.
One of those we overlooked his payment, we asked him 3 times, and after a month
he responded with a date of payment (completely different name)
Also sometimes packages are stuck at customs, and still they blame me as the
seller.
Nevertheless, this is not the issue we are talking about, my tickets are being
ignored which is just terrible service from the helpdesk.
Even if there are more issues, they should respond and talk about that.
There are shops with far worse feedback scores, that are still running.

I wouldn’t say that, the help desk often take many many weeks to respond and
from what I’ve seen stores closed due to 3 or more nss can take 1-2 months to
reopen at least (if reapproved)

I've had this once before. And I was open within a week. But it was a smaller
issue than this time.
I had open NSS issues before, but they always fix this within a few days.

What is it that you’re requesting with each of the 22 contact attempts? The same
thing asked 22 times? Or are you addressing the NSS/NRS cases individually?
|
22 different cases. 13 were not shipped. (Bought during my holiday) 9 I did not
upload tracking, the last shipping round before my holiday, i forgot to upload
the tracking codes.
So there were no huge issues, all easy fixes.

| From what I’ve gleaned on that topic over the more recent years here, is that
| it’s entirely at the discretion of the Admin whether or not to hear your case.
In other words, there’s nothing to compel adjudication from them. Put another
way: Appeal to them, don’t demand. To include a timely response.
Time and time again, I’ve witnessed Russell’s willingness to hear and adjudicate
such cases with compassion and fairness, given the circumstances.

Thanks. I am not in a big rush. I am just eager to start working again. I had
tons of time now to upload new stock.. and for 10 days already I can not do anything
but waiting till I can reopen / till I can access my inventory again.
But we will wait. I just wish there was a more clear idea on how long somethings
would take on the platform.

I fully agree, ask with humility / never demand. There have been forum posts
in the past by people who have had their store closed for not paying their fees
on time and some have gotten pissed when their store was not opened quickly enough
for them and I have wondered if maybe they showed a bad attitude when contacting
admin about their store being closed so admin may not have been in a real hurry
to help them out. I know I have forgotten to pay our fees a few times over the
years and have had our store closed but each time, after I paid the fees, I would
contact admin apologizing big time for not paying on time and our store was always
opened up the same day and sometimes even within an hour or two.

See your what your problem could be?
You received yesterday a Negative:
No response for 1.5 months after payment, only shipped after opening paypal
case
Reply: Shipped after my holiday. As explained.
You said 3 weeks, how can this be 1.5 month?
Why did you retaliate with a Negative?

This order had tons more issues. And ofcourse I want to change for the better.
80 letters is way to short to explain every negative feedback. I gave a negative
back cause we talked it out on email, the buyer happy to receive his items.
The items were shipped before my holiday, returned during my holiday, and shipped
again at my own costs, loosing me 18€ (and 28€ for a paypal claim) so a 60 euro
order I can keep 14. The buyer is being unfair here, so he gets a negative back.

This is FAR FAR to much to lose this amount and let this seller post in forum
"Hey, I don't understand, I've solved every problem, BrickLink doesn't

Please stick to it and keep the forum updated; chances are Russell will see this!

I hope the seller steps up and does the right thing, makes me wonder how much
they owe their buyers right now. IMO, Bricklink did the right thing and the
store should stay closed.
I have been following this thread and just have to ask, why did you choose to
buy from a seller considering their feedback left a lot to be desired? Had you
bought from them before and it was a stellar transaction?
Personally, I have a hard time buying from a seller with any negative feedback,
unless it is really old and more recent positive feedback, since everyone can
make a mistake. Yet, here, you bought from someone who had multiple recent, at
the time, negative/neutral feedback.
I hope this is not rubbing salt into the wound, but that your answers may help
other buyers learn from your experience.

Personally, I have a hard time buying from a seller with any negative feedback,

make a mistake. Yet, here, you bought from someone who had multiple recent, at

Was the House of Logos debacle before your time?
Not saying Loonbricks is there. They still have a long way to go for that.
But even as the negatives piled up and the orchestra had stopped playing, people
still bought from HoL and defended them on the forum: ‘bad things won’t happen
to me’ or ‘it didn’t happen to me last time.’

| Thank you both for your replies.
I only have about 60 buys on Bricklink but every other store I've dealt with
have all been amazing. Admittedly back when I made my purchase I likely didn't
read all his reviews/posts and assumed his main issue was bad communication.
I also wanted to get a lot of Monorail parts and track and had hoped to just
make a larger order.

Yes before my time active in the forum, and there is not much about them here.
From what is here, I can infer what happened.

| Hi Kevin - I saw your latest lie in my feedback and have it below for reference.
My Paypal claim against you was denied because Paypal won't give protection
between sellers of collectables, I'm considered a lego re-seller. Anyone
who re-sells product on Paypay can call into this category. However my bank
is one of the 3 largest in the US. They've already responded to my 6 page
claim, refunded my money, and are asking Paypal why you have so many thefts.
Let's pretend what you said is true, where is the tracking information?
Why did you never contact me for an order you took in July? Did you send it
before the order was NSS-canceled? Why didn't any email get generated to
me, to the destination like I have with all other over seas orders?
I've also been in contact with the Admins of Bricklink because I think it
would be a shame to continue to sully the good name of this marketplace.
As for your 'reply' Below, you are placing a lot of blame on everyone
around you. Take responsibility for yourself.
We're still waiting on both your action and explanation. You said in your
forum post you contacted all sellers, but you never contacted me did you? Paypal
requires you to send shipping information, but you never did. Why do you think
my NSS claim aganst you should be closed?
From Kevin today 9/20/2022:
Complaint tukeetrash (55) Sep 19, 2022 19696639 Seller
THIS STORE STOLE 3,400 euros. Took Money, no ship, no response. NSS-Canceled.
Reply: Lost paypal claim? Order is shipped as why we won the claim.

TONS of apologizes; this is simply toxic.
