| Hi everyone.
I recently bought Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) and noticed the Metallic Silver
lightsaber hilts, looks much different compared to other sets such as the one
from the Imperial Shuttle (75302). I have attached an image below of the two
lightsabers, supposedly in the same colour.
The one on the left is from the Cantina and looks really great, in fact it looks
pretty close to chrome silver, just not as shiny. The difference might not be
so obvious on the image, but the lightsaber hilt on the right is very "grainy"
(no it is not dust), darker and much more matte. I really like the colour from
the Cantina, but I hate the one from the shuttle, but does anyone know how to
only buy the shiny variant on bricklink, since it is listed as the same colour?

The color underneath the coating might be a different color. You would have to
ask the seller where their lightsaber hilts came from.. I'll have to check
my extra 75290 hilts to see what color is under the coating. It should be Light
Bluish Gray.

The color appears to be Light Bluish Gray. Your grainy lightsaber hilt might
just be a result of poor coating at the factory. Have you checked with other
75302 owners to see if their hilts were also grainy? I doubt LEGO would have
used Pearl Dark Gray as a color to coat over.

Thanks for your help, I don't know any other people who own either of the
sets I mentioned, which is why I asked on this forum for other peoples experience.
Maybe someone who have the set will see this thread and provide their experience.
Otherwise I know I have to contact the seller if I buy the lightsaber hilts in
that colour.
