Wouter and I have confirmed that part 6510 exists in TLG 219 Lilac, which is under BL Medium Violet and this is the only possible source. No evidence exists to suggest that this flower appeared in Dark Purple. Will attach photo of listing.

convinced that the dark purple should be Medium Violet. Still had doubts about
Magenta or Light Purple though. But you convinced me now

Still had some images waiting for me to add to the other post. I already was
convinced that the dark purple should be Medium Violet. Still had doubts about
Magenta or Light Purple though. But you convinced me now

Great! All that's left now is to move the Light Green flowers and to add
the Trans-Green flower. That should finish this part for good.

For future reference, I think that the set contains 6510 in Lilac. That colour
is conflated with to other colours in Bricklink's Medium Violet.

I was about to suggest that this set should have a note attached to it, as should
other sets with Lilac parts. I believe this color appeared in five sets + a promo
brick,

Have you checked your capes? The 2004 cape should be Lilac. Any earlier 'Violet'
cape is just TLG 110, but they do look VERY similar.
Lilac appears in sets 4663, 4679b-2, 4751, 7496, and 7917. The fourth has a note.
