Hello!
I am building a mosaic, but I discovered the RGB code here represented for Medium
Nougat does not match the Studio2 software RGB code.
At least on the PC they don't match at all.
So: which is correct?
How to get correct RGB representation for all colors?
Many thanks!
Gustav

Click “show all fan sites” to get a comparison of several different hex codes
— I just added that functionality yesterday
Does stud.io use its own color codes separate from BrickLink? That might be worth
adding…

I think they are tweeked for the renderer but I never compared them to know where
they came from exactly (my guess would have been LDraw or LDD).
If you have Studio, it’s in Studio 2.0\data\CustomColorDefinition.txt (tab-separated
values).

Thank you all!
So. I can see at least 3 different RGB combinations.
Googling you can find other ones...

As far as I noticed, the "Lego" column is the one used in Studio2. At least for
Medium Nougat.
So, the question is: where do the RGB codes for Lego+Studio2 come from? And the
ones on BL?
Many thanks!

The ones on BrickLink mostly come from us admins who have to choose an RGB value
to represent a color on the site. I have adjusted a few to be closer to the actual
colors, and I believe that many of our RGB representations are actually much
better than what LEGO itself uses.
