Hi!

I've had 3 buyers contact me they get an "out of stock" error when placing
an order, while the item does have stock available in my inventory. One of the
buyers identified the part (after placing 14 orders of 1-2 parts). This part
did have stock and showed up fine in my store and inventory. Buying even one
part of the 30 I had available was nog even possible though. I had to remove
the part from my inventory and re-list it, only then could it be purchased.
I used the part-out function to add this part a few days ago, so nothing out
of the ordenary. I did not get any error messages as well.

The main problem is: I can't tell which part(s) cause these problems. Also
Buyers also can't tell (from what I know now).

Has anyone experience these kind of problems before?

Are you sure that part was in stock but not marked as stockroom? Bricklink changes
this when someone places an Instant Checkout order but doesn't finalise the
payment. You can quickly know about this because it appears as In Progress in
the top right of the orders received page. The parts for the order are marked
as stockroom temporarily (minutes to hours idk) and then unmarked and being available
again.

Yeah, the item was in stock and not in stockroom. The buyer was able to add it
to his cart as well. When I looked it up in my invetory, there was nothing wrong
with it. It had quantity, amount etc, and no stockroom. Really strange.

I have some new information:
- This error occurs at the last step (4) of the checkout process.
- This error only occurs when ordering from my store directly. placing an order
does work from the "global cart" function on the BL page itself. So at least
that's a good work around.
