Source: Instructions and official online parts list. This set has one extra part for each bag in which a part is included.

With these extra part corrections we finally have a match with the official piece count of 967.

Source for the dark red 32064c is the change log, in particular the requests from June, 2006 where someone added 2x 32064b and 4x 32064 as alternates (and 32064 must be 32064c for a set from 2005/2006).
