| I have an order that got submitted to NSS status on 12/13/21. The problem is,
the order was on 5/13/21, and was never paid for. My one goof was setting a
NPB, and forgetting to close the NPB after the 7 day period had passed (it was
a 45 cent order and not on the top of my to do list).
Given the 6 month purging of orders deadline has passed and the fact that it
never got paid for, why and how am I getting a NSS filed against me?
How do I get this cleared so I don't have a huge red banner on the top of
my "My Bricklink" screen?
I have been to helpdesk who stated I can start a paypal refund claim?
What? I am the seller! Also, a mitigating factor, this is a Stripe transaction.
Please send help.

How can it be a Stripe transaction if it wasn't paid for?

For clarity - a Stripe transaction that wasn't paid for - they opted to used
Stripe.
That was to exemplify that a suggestion paypal refund is worthless/invalid in
a transaction set for Stripe.

Orders - Orders and order items are purged 6 months from the order date. Orders
with a problem status will be purged 3 years from the order date.
Question is, what exactly is a "problem order"? I have a closed NPB order that
is 2 years old that *was not* purged. I also had a bogus NSS that was removed
and that order *was* purged after 6 months.
You can close an NPB at any time after 7 (now 5) days have passed. Maybe see
if you can close it now?

Administration moved it to pending, so the NPB was removed. If the rules are
to purge after 3 years, then they made an action outside of the purge policy.
Per my discussion with them:
NSSs and NPBs work both ways: if the nPB is not closed on time it is not staying
on the buyer account forever, the order status just gets switched to Pending.
I don't know if that's stated anywhere within the terms, but I did get
this sorted after a few follow up emails with helpdesk. As mentioned above,
they did move it to Pending. Since it's past the order purge date, I'll
just leave as is.
