| Please change to Weight-bound. All similar minifigs are weight bound, and not
Volume-bound.

For now, all minifigures that have packaging dimensions added that are greater
than 2cm in all directions are changed to volume bound. Next year, *all* minifigures
in the entire catalog will become volume bound by default.
Therefore, your request will not be accepted at this time as sellers need to
start to get used to having minifigure entries that are all volume bound.
Cheers,
Randy

OK, Is that part of a larger change to how IC works (or will work) or is there
an intrinsic advantage to having them volume bound now ?

I have only been informed by the powers that be at BrickLink that this would
be the case with the next phase of the packing dimensions project next year (Phase
3). I don't know the specific reason for the change. I wish I could tell
you more, but all I know is that it will be happening. If I had to guess, I would
assume that it has everything to do with IC.
Cheers,
Randy
