| Hi all Bricklinkers,
Does anyone know if the shade of Pearl Dark Gray has changed over the years?
I have some bionicle pieces and looking at the available colours they could only
be Pearl Dark Gray, but some other (perhaps newer) pieces must also be Pearl
Dark Gray, but they are a bit different.
I am think that maybe the earlier PDG was based on the old Dark Gray, and the
newer ones on the Dark Bluish Gray - any ideas?

I think it might have, I just uploaded some cannons and one of them is more tannish
and the rest are more gray. I think all of the pearl colors are created by mixing
some sort of coloring agent into the base color which results in a wide variety
of inconsistent shades with each manufacturing run.
