| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Change 1 Part Reddish Brown {31287c02 Duplo Cake with Dark Pink Frosting to 31287c03 Duplo Cake with Trans-Dark Pink Frosting}
Comments from Submitter:
After looking at many images of this set on ebay/google images, it seems this part in Reddish Brown never came with Dark Pink icing — even the BL pic for Reddish Brown looks a little translucent. It's polypropylene Trans-Dark Pink, same as the later ones, but the material makes it look more opaque than normal.

There is this open catalog request that I was working on on the inventories side
before moving over to the catalog side:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1232860
I never got a chance to finish it, but my research had found the same thing as
you: the reddish brown cake never came with dark pink frosting.
In fact, the only set that looked like it ever really came with
was the very first set that used the part
Every other set after that looks like they switched the material, and so *should*
be
But like I said, I never finished the complete research needed.
In this case though, I think you are absolutely correct.
