| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Add 1 Part 4491a Red Horse Saddle with One Clip (match ID 4)
* Add 1 Part 4491b Red Horse Saddle with Two Clips (Alternate) (match ID 4)

My version of this set includes a saddle with 2 clips, not 1, and I have seen pictures of this set online that also show 2 clips instead of 1.
Plus, other sets in this series also have the 2-clip saddle as an alternate.

Could you tell us a bit more about your set? Did you get it new and/or are you
sure it still has the original saddle?
I'm pretty certain 4491b was introduced in 1991 or 1992. Therefore I don't
think it was ever included in set 6061 or in any other castle set released in
1984.

| I have had the set for many years however it was second hand. I have a few sets
from this series and I have the exact amount of saddles I should have for all
the sets, and all of them have 2 clips. I've also seen this particular set
for sale on ebay and the image shows 2 clips.
See also set 6042-1 which was released 1990 and has 2-clip saddle as alternate
item.
Maybe a UK thing?

Thanks for your answer. However, since you cannot guarantee that your sets have
the original parts (and those sets on Ebay are also used so they might have been
mixed with other sets), these requests will not be accepted.
And yes, later copies of set 6042 have the saddle with two clips because as you
said that set was released in 1990 and not in 1984.

I agree. I had castle sets up to (and including) 1987 releases in my childhood
collection, and I believe I never saw a double-clip saddle then.

I agree. I had castle sets up to (and including) 1987 releases in my childhood
collection, and I believe I never saw a double-clip saddle then.

None in my collection either (up to 1988 with 6085-1).
