| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Add 1 Part 32278 White Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 15 (Alternate) (match ID 25028)
* Change 2 Part Dark Gray 32278 Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 15 {match ID 0 to 25028}

While deconstructing the set I purchased when it was new I noticed one piece was a different color. With my instructions I found a loose extra page which includes the alternate:

Many thanks for submitting this! So it looks like this set was redesigned. I
will adjust the inventory to reflect this.
According to the change log, the inventory originally included the 1x15 liftarm
in white, but it was removed in 2010 (and Peeron also lists a white 1x15 liftarm
with source MISB).
Did your set still came with two dark gray
?
And assuming all your parts are original from the set, could you maybe also check
the correct variant for this part?

No, it came with only one. So the white piece replaced one of the two dark gray
pieces.

(6628a or 6628b)

All the ones with it are 6628b. Unfortunately I can't 100% guarantee I didn't
mix up the pins with another set since I didn't realize they were different,
I am only 99% sure I kept it together properly.

All the ones with it are 6628b. Unfortunately I can't 100% guarantee I didn't
mix up the pins with another set since I didn't realize they were different,
I am only 99% sure I kept it together properly.

6628b would match our current timeline for these part variants. Since you are
not 100% sure I won't add it for now but I think many undetermined 6628 can
be changed to the correct variants soon as it is pretty obvious the change from
b to a took place around 2003.
