| So I sent some trans neon orange parts to a buyer and he states that they are
actually trans orange. One of the parts does not come in trans orange, so I
am pretty sure it is actually neon.
He sent this pic, claiming the ones on the right are trans orange. I read somewhere
that trans neon orange has changed over the years. Is this just a case of old
vs new trans neon orange?
I also included a pic of the three shades of orange I have in the round brick.
Is it old TNO, new TNO and TO?

| In the picture the buyer sent, I believe all the parts are Trans-Neon Orange.
The Trans-Orange color is noticably lighter than both these shades.

You are correct, and the buyer is wrong. Everything in the first pic is Trans-Neon
Orange. The parts on the left are the older shade, which glows more under a blacklight
and was used until around 2006-2008, from what I've been able to pin down
from collecting various sets. The parts on the right are the newer shade of Trans-Neon
Orange that has been used since. In the second pic, the parts on the far right
are indeed Trans-Orange.
If the buyer doubts you, tell them they can check the parts under a blacklight
and see that they fluoresce, because they do.

The parts in the buyer's image are all Trans-Neon Orange. The older Trans-Neon
Orange was milky looking. The newer Trans-Neon Orange is clear like the other
transparent colors.
