| Would it be beneficial to have a dedicated forum topic Taxes, with the
charter of discussing all things related to transactional taxes collected via
BrickLink, VAT and Sales tax?
A go-to forum space specific to the charter. The topic could be umbrellaed as
a subtopic by the more general Help. Perhaps giving the Admin another
and specific place to post updates on what is still a fairly new and complicated
implementation, and to find the opportune question and broadly-held concerns.
It might be worth doing, if only provisionally?

Because you’re hoping taxes won’t last?

No, I hold no such illusions. Quoting Franklin in a letter he wrote to Jean-Baptiste
Le Roy "in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes"
removing the bit about our new constitution, lest it be labeled political
No "provisionally" as in imagining the practice of taxing transactions becoming
more versed and accepted by most, over time.
But yeah you're right, there's always "hoping"

Given the number of tax-related questions that have been posted on the forum
recently, I think that a separate "Taxes" topic is justified.

Yes, please, so I can remove the whole topic from my forum view.

Never crossed my mind. That would be an ancillary benefit to some, I'm sure.
Communication is key to most things we do. Made even more vital when conducting
commerce on a platform that's become an entire global marketplace unto itself.
I don't know much about TLG. But from what I've read and heard, it seems
to place a great deal of importance (more than most corporations or groups) on
communication with it's consumer or end-users, beyond conventional advertisement
that is.
I've always viewed it as deep thinking, a form of longterm more subtle brand
building. I mean just think about how many adults here, readily express their
feelings towards the brand as "love". Which has gotta make make other corporate
brands left feeling envious. Or is it jealousy? Love can do that

Even though LEGO owns bricklink, they are separate companies and I don't
think much of LEGO's communication skills have rubbed off on BL yet.

Well, let's keep working on that!
Hope really does spring eternal. It's in our nature to find new reasons for
optimism.
