Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 7577 Name: Winter Wonder Palace
*
7577-1 (Inv) Winter Wonder Palace
165 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2006
Sets: Belville: Fairy-Tale

* Change 1 Part {Light Blue to Bright Light Blue} 33214pb01 Baseplate, Raised Belville Castle with Arctic Pattern

Comments from Submitter:
I believe the baseplate in this set is Bright Light Blue, rather than Light Blue, as the baseplate in 5850-1 is.
I have both sets and there is a visible difference between the two baseplates.

Could you post a photo of each of the raised baseplates next to something that
is a known Bright Light Blue part?

Thanks,
Randy

Of course! Here is part 6162 from set 7577-1 in Bright Light Blue against my
two baseplates, the one from the Royal Crystal Palace (2002) on the left, and
the one from the Winter Wonder Palace (2006) on the right. I checked the catalog
and this part has never been produced in Light Blue. I've compared it to
the underside of the baseplates as the one on the left from 5850-1 is significantly
discoloured on the top.

That definitely looks like Bright Light Blue to me. This makes perfect sense,
too, as Light Blue would have been a discontinued color by 2006. And Light Blue
was replaced with, you guessed it, Bright Light Blue.

Would you mind taken a good picture of the Bright Light Blue baseplate against
a white (or closer to white) backdrop and uploading it to the catalog? The Light
Blue one has a nice image, but we would need a good image of the other one. You
can upload the photo here:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogImageAdd.page?itemType=P

After we get a new image for the Bright Light Blue baseplate, I can go ahead
and accept this change request. Thank you very much for catching this very important
difference between the two sets.

Cheers,
Randy

Done! Thanks so much so for accepting my request. Let me know if the image is
iffy, I can try taking another photo at a different time of day.

I have attached an image of the two baseplates. The one from 5850-1 is discoloured,
but on the bottom you can see the original colour in comparison to the colour
of the baseplate from 7577-1.

Just pulled my copy of this set out from storage (I’ve owned this set since new)
and my baseplate is not bright light blue.
I’m not very good at taking pictures but it definitely looks yellowed compared
to the rounded bricks.
I’ve tried to add images, but it’s more noticeable in person.

Do you have another part that is known to exist in Light Blue to also have in
the image? The lighting conditions of your photos really make it hard to distinguish
the color difference. I would initially say that the color seems too "blue"
to be Light Blue.

The baseplate has a greenish tinge to it when next to the bright light blue parts.
I’ll have a look through my Duplo (might take me a while) because I know I have

Set No: 7441 Name: Tiny & Friends
*
7441-1 (Inv) Tiny & Friends
54 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2003
Sets: Explore: Little Robots: DUPLO

Might take me some time to pull it all out of storage.
