| I have in my possession part 86059 (Rein with Bridle Flexible) in dark gray -
NOT dark bluish gray. I find this curious, since the part wasn't manufactured
until 2009, long after old dark gray was phased out. I am certain it not discolored
from sun exposure, because the color is uniform on all areas of the part. And
I doubt it is just a variation in color due to its material, because it is VERY
close in color to other dark gray parts. Any ideas?
(I was going to post a picture to show the comparison, but my phone did not capture
the colors well enough to show the difference/similarity between the parts.)

Do you have ny dark bluish gray ones?
I'm not shocked by a rubber pieces not being a great match to the ABS pieces.

Not currently, but I have in the past. I would have questioned the color back
then if it was so far off from dark bluish gray like this one is.

The remaining options would be that the factory made an error or that something
other than direct sunlight has caused uniform discoloration. Keep it as an oddity
or sell it with a comment that for some reason it looks more like old dark gray.
That will interest someone.
