These cut lengths are not accurate in some cases. For example, steps 6 and 7
of the instructions specify lengths of 12cm and 50cm. You've added lengths
of 12cm and 49.6cm as counterparts. The 12cm addition is correct, but the 49.6cm
addition was not correct. See attached photo.
Also, it looks like you've changed the hoses appearing in the Regular Items
section from a determined part length to an undetermined part. I'm not very
familiar with these hoses. Is that correct? If so, shouldn't the hoses
be specified as undetermined entries? And what was the reason for changing the
determined lengths to undetermined entries? I'm guessing they weren't
long enough to create the cut lengths?

Isn't it that in set originally comes one long hose and the you cut it? Just
thinking.

Yes, I believe so. But that long hose has a specific length, I'd imagine.
I don't think they'd put random lengths of hoses in the set for users
to cut.
Don't know, though - I've never had a set with pneumatic hoses.

| Many of the early pneumatic sets require lengths of hose that do not correspond
to the whole number stepping of 'stud' units of .8cm of pneumatic hose
found in the catalog. I'm just going by past examples of inventories and
choosing the closest hose length. Given that the unit of length is .8cm, a choice
of hose from the catalog will be within .4cm of actual length.
here's a set from 1989 that requires 10cm and 6cm lengths of hose, but the
inventory uses the available lengths from the catalog of 10.4cm and 6.4cm
I changed the existing three hoses in the inventory of 9633 to undefined because
their lengths could not be correct "as is" for use in the model. Possibly they
were supplied as over-length hose to be cut into proper lengths of hose, (my
assumption), but they were not even long enough for that either.
Basically I was leaving the problem of what was the original state of the set
for someone else to fix because I can't solve that. I was playing it safe
and just adding the lengths of hose to counter-parts as shown in the instructions,
(as expected from a buyer and seller of a used set). If it ends up that all the
proper length of hoses were originally included with the set, and didn't
need to be 'cut', then these counterparts can easily be moved into regular
inventory.
