| Some people decided to change Bricklink layout/functions etc now thousands
of sellers and hundred thousands of buyers find nothing. Bravo.
You killed the goose that laid the golden egg. Was the changes neccessary?

| I'll chime in with concurrence,
The new Wanted addition window looks nice (thank you very much), but not the
new Wanted List which -- honestly -- looks like a massive waste of space,
and more time-consuming to navigate.
After two or three blank stares of how I wish to see my Wanted world, I've
learned to navigate to Classic.
On that theme, I've fortunately verified key paths back to Classic pages,
which are clearly well in tune with what LEGO fans need (courtesy of our creator);
which I hope we don't lose; and which I suppose I'll now be bookmarking.
I was worried the Buy tab was gone; luckily not so -- moved and renamed.
There's unused white space everywhere. I realize a balance must be found,
and do not recommend cramming all things together, however I've just reduced
this monitor's brightness by 50% to avoid aching eyes from the new BrickLink.
I sure hope our Classic pages do not disappear, and I hope BrickLink administrators
are wise enough to maintain statistics on which pages are used over time, and
if data supports reversal, are open to change ... back [insert corporate board
laughter].
Admittedly, BrickLink took a little time to get used to, maybe a day for me in
2006 and of course I picked up on shortcuts or alternate paths over the years.
But in 2006 I quickly realized it was a no-frills, functional, and wonderful
database, one which looks less streamlined and more frilly now.
Maybe the same can be said for today's new people (they gain quick but not
initial realization of BrickLink's global database power). Maybe not. I
don't know. I know I'm tired of the corporate mindset of moving the
same stuff around and inefficiently adding clicks in the name of efficiency,
and this decade's apparent white, white, and more white web trend.
Thanks for the surely wonderful intent and extraordinary efforts. For now however,
sorry with regard to this post (see "tired", see "people").
Most importantly, everyone have a good one!
