Didn't see this posted as a suggestions before.
Simply: Exclude super lots from the price guide averages.
(and preferably from the stats at the top of the PG page altogether. If you are
looking for one, and you see the min price is $0.00. You can't actually get
it for free. Unless.......
The listing itself can still show up first on the list of items for sale. But
for those of us here in the US, we would see $5.53 as the min price. Not $0.00--if
superlots were removed from the top statistics)

Example:
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?S=col13-14&ColorID=0

Fourteen of the first 15 listings are super lots.

Thanks,
Katie

You can turn on a setting that adds an "(S)" to the price guide next to super
lots:

http://www.bricklink.com/priceGuideSettings.asp

though that doesn't solve the problem complete. Voted yes.
