Thanks for the print number on the instructions. Due to this inventory having
a "zero QTY alternate" situation, the inventory note will have to suffice until
we decide how to handle this sort of problem. I don't want to move the parts
to the Extra section, because they actually *are* required in the other version
of the instructions.
Regarding partout, I am considering the possibility of an extra step required
in the process in cases where the inventory has a note. The screen would show
only the note, and there may be a checkbox to confirm that the note has been
read.
There was a thread a few days ago debating the merits of parting out without
physically checking the parts. That's a risk some are willing to take, fair
enough. But one should *never* part out a set without reading the notes. It can
have disastrous effects (see 5th paragraph):
