Yes, this is what is needed for these inventories - counterparts for all the
cut pieces, just like we would do with string. My only quibble is the "6.4" length
piece - in the instructions it says "6cm".

Through a little bit of research I found that indeed some submitters were looking
at the "L" dimension and interpreting it as "cm" before "cm" was added to the
Item Name. This is certainly why this inventory lists a gray hose that is too
short, and likely why we have a 6.4cm hose in a 1984 inventory - it should be
8cm.
