Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 671 Name: Shell Fuel Pumper
*
671-1 (Inv) Shell Fuel Pumper
63 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1978
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Gas Station

* Change 1 Part Black {x77 String, Cord (Undetermined Type) to x77b String, Cord Thick}

Comments from Submitter:
Thick string is necessary to fit in a minifig hand and to tie a knot thick enough not to pull through a 1 x 1 window. See also these inventories:

Set No: 672 Name: Fire Engine
*
672-1 (Inv) Fire Engine
56 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1978
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Fire

Set No: 554 Name: Exxon Fuel Pumper
*
554-1 (Inv) Exxon Fuel Pumper
65 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1979
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Gas Station

Hi Russell,
do you think it's possible that the 1x1 window was replaced in later production
runs by

Part No: 4070 Name: Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
*
4070 Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
Parts: Brick, Modified
?
I just found the string with knot pressed into this brick in yellow in a mixed
lot with many sets from ~1970 to ~1982.

Hi Ronald

Maybe, this set was available till 1982 (the 4070 started in production in 1980).

Only string I found with a yellow 4070 is from set 6610.

Set No: 6610 Name: Gas Pumps
*
6610-1 (Inv) Gas Pumps
25 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1981
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Gas Station
but that's a short one and with handle (maybe broken off?).

Hello guys,

I would also say it is possible, especially since it is for the most part hidden.
And the yellow and white windows certainly ran out much earlier than the red
ones did. The copy of this set I had as a child had the original window, btw,
but I'm quite sure it was purchased in 1978.

How long is the string?

Russell
