  Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 60050 Name: Train Station
*
60050-1 (Inv) Train Station
403 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 2014
Sets: Train: RC Train

* Delete 4 Part 30363 Black Slope 18 4 x 2
* Add 4 Part 3298 Black Slope 33 3 x 2

Comments from Submitter:
Incorrect part listed on original inventory. Noted when parting out set.

Are there two versions of this set? I submitted the change from 3298 to 30363
because that is what was included in the sets that I parted out. If your set
has part 3298, it should be added as an alternate.

Thats a strange one as part 3298 is shown in the inventory in the instructions
and the instructions also show 3x2 slopes used in the construction. If 4x2 slopes
are used then the set will not fit together properly and the train tracks will
be too far from the platform. I would say the parts included in your sets were
incorrect?

Not sure how we resolve this, do we list 30363 as an alternative even though
it seems incorrect?

Calvin

Brickset gets their information from the Lego replacement parts site and they
list 30363 in this set. They also link to pdf instructions on the Lego site and
those also list 30363.

as you know, that info is not always correct

I know, but in this case the info was correct based on the contents of the sets
that I parted out. But based on bnsf734's request, it appears that there
are 2 versions of this set and that means that 3298 should be added as an alternate
item. At least this time it's not as bad as that one set where a trainbase
was replaced with an assembly of multiple parts.

Hi

Just checked, here it's also the

Part No: 30363  Name: Slope 18 4 x 2
*
30363 Slope 18 4 x 2
Parts: Slope
as already mentioned, Brickset (and TLC) has also the 30363 =
http://brickset.com/sets/60050-1/Train-Station
also the instructions inventory #6106739 and #6106743 (both page 54)
http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6106739.pdf
http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6106743.pdf

Maybe member bnsf734 can take some pictures from his instructions and set?

Stefaan

Hi

Looks like there are definitely 2 versions of this set as my instructions show
3x2 slopes in the construction and 3298 in the parts list but the links above
show 4x2 slopes and you can see 4x2 slopes in the instructions.

My instructions book 3 has a different reference number (6092634) to the one
in the link above.
I can't understand why there should be a difference but it certainly looks
like there is one!

Shall we just list 3298 and 30363 as alternatives?

Hi
http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6092634.pdf
Indeed also the 3298
Difference is with the to cut lines and is with date. (Online version)
Must be a first run and changed later when they found it's to close to the
tracks...?
What are the other nummers?

update: view was on an iPad, on my desktop I don't see the to cut lines
date for the new instructions is April 17, the older are a mix from Jan 14+15+21,
2014 and Dec 9, 2013.

So first run was with the shorter slopes.

Yes, 3298 should be added as alternate.

I have added the alternate part now. This is quite new to me so I hope I have
got it right!

The instruction books references I have are:

Book 1 6092630
Book 2 6092632
Book 3 6092634
