| I would like to suggest that when there is an event, like todays prediction that
people can post about it.
I am sure the MODs have MUCH more to do with their lives then trying to kill
all of the news posts.
I agree, no religion.
But news is news.
So here is an addition to the rule;
If CNN is running it more then 2x per hour, people will be allowed to talk about
it in the forum for THAT DAY ONLY.
hehe.
Have a great day!

So far the posts from everyone have stayed clear of the spiritual implications
and kept toward the informational/historical/analytical/ and humorous parts of
the story. Threads have remained unlocked.

I think that there is much more important news happening than this, uh, "prediction"
which barely merits the attention that it is getting.
But, all the other newsworthy topics tend to be quite political of late so then
it will come down to who decides which issue is forum fodder and which is not.
I vote no, just leave it out or make posts benign like most of the threads about
the current non-event have been and then there's no need to change any rules.
