| Hello! I am currently placing an order with one of the coolest store owners I've
come across, and he let me pay layaway for about 2 weeks when it hit me:
Why isn't there a layaway option? Obviously, this can benefit the seller,
and the lower-income buyers together, but before I continue, Let me explain
the concept of layaway:
Layaway is an option where you pay weekly, biweekly or monthly a set amount (agreed
on by both parties: buyer and seller) until the item is paid off.
For the seller, this means once the price is agreed on/the first payment is made,
they have to put the item aside (regardless on other buyers' offers after
an agreement is made between the first two parties)
For the buyer: This means the once the price is agreed on, you stick to the price
and stay faithful to the deal 'till the end. This also means communicating
with the seller for anything that should be noted such as change of payment account,
or change of address, etc. Missing your payment by one day could void the whole
transaction leaving the buyer at the mercy of the seller.
Both parties should remain as transparent as possible for the smoothest possible
transaction.
Due to people filing chargebacks on other people, it would be fair to give refund
permissions ONLY to the seller. This way, if the buyer breeches the contract,
or simply wants their money back, the seller could then decide if a refund is
warranted.
It's like a regular BL order, except its just broken up over time.
What do you guys think?

| Please show sellers whether or not they are currently eligible and showing up
as a highlighted store. Also, please be more specific in the description as to
how sellers are eligible or not, and maybe reduce the 6 month ban if they close
their store. Many reputable sellers close their stores from time to time, or
even daily, 6 months is a long time not to be eligible, just because they closed
their store for a day or two.
Thank you for considering this,
Darren

| I often check both the set value and part out value of a set before parting it
out. Why can't "Part Out Value" also show the average sales value of the
set as a whole too?

| For some time now we have had considerable difficulty in reconciling the fees
statement to our accounts system. The fees are always paid - there is no problem
there, but the fact that it is a summary rather than detail and the conversion
rates may or may not be different it makes it a job rather than just a quick
check.
We would like to see each store given the option to receive either the summary
or a detailed breakdown. The detailed breakdown should include each order the
store is being charged for the date and value of that order and the calculated
fee + currency conversion rate.
Those of us who do not deal in dollars would like that information available.
Those who don't require it can remain with the summary.
If the fees program is within the code for Bricklink, this should not be a complicated
change as it has all the info already. If it is in another system that would
have to be looked at but even today's most simple billing programs allow
for this type of information to be presented.

| Hi, buyer saw an item in my store and is sending a list of what he needs. I have
20,000+ parts to work through and it would be useful to allow him to view my
stockroom via a bypass password like you can allow access if your store is closed,
worth considering as an enhancement
Regards
Andrew
