| Hi all, not sure if this is normal (as I'm writing this it occurs to me that
it probably is), but I got a Login from new device email today (yes I logged
in, but it was the same browser I always use) the email came through about an
hour after I logged in and the time stated in the email was also about an hour
after I logged in.
It's more so the time in the email that says when the new log in was detected
that has me concerned ( I know emails can take a while to come through).
The time discrepancy could be due to time zones (email time is in UTC and I am
AEST).
What does everyone think about this?

| Hi,
It's not your browser that flags this it's your IP address. Every computer
has a unique address. So if you are logging in on your normal computer, at your
usual location with the same internet router, nothing is different to the last
times you logged in then I would urr on caution and change your password. Takes
a second, why not, you are just protecting yourself just incase.

I think the one-time pin (OTP) only lasts a month or so in any case, so once
it expires even your regular computer & browser is a "new device"

I had completely forgotten I did this, that's probably what triggered it
then, the times would line up alot better too if this is the case.

Funny thing is, I got one of those today too, but I don't recall needing
to sign in. I got a second email with a code that I know for a fact I did not
enter. The IP address matched my router though, so who the heck knows.

I just logged in to brickstore and got the same email again.
Thought I would leave this here for anyone who finds this looking for answers
like myself.
