| I live near a country border and have an address in both countries where I can
collect parcels. Depending on the shipping costs, it's more economical to
ship to country A or country B.
The only way to have an order shipped to address A or address B, is to update
my address details on my profile. This used to work fine, albeit it's a bit
cumbersome.
Since some time (recently?), when I change my address on BrickLink, I must go
through the seller verification process again, even though I changed it only
from a buyer point of view. I wasn't meaning the change my official store
address.
So my suggestion/request is one of the following:
Option 1 - Allow any buyer to enter any shipping destination in the checkout
process, just like 99% of webshops allow to do so.
Option 2 - Each account should have a buyer and a seller address. Only when changing
the seller address, a new store verification is required.
Thanks for considering any of these options.

| The current option is to have two account, a buyer and seller account, which
is a bad solution in my opinion as it splits up your feedback and you need two
email addresses for that. And you need to get approval from BL for that, to have
two accounts.
I genuinely do not understand the rigorous process of having your store closed
because you want to change your delivery address.
There are a zillion marketplaces out there, and I have not seen one yet where
I cannot change my delivery address, or have multiple delivery addresses.
I can never order a gift on Bricklink and have it shipped to a friend. I can
never have Lego shipped to my parents house. I can not have Lego shipped if I
am in another country. Without getting my store locked.
And this is one of those things BL refuses to improve. All development focus
is on stuff that benefits BL, not the users.

I completely hear you on this; it's very common in Canada since we hug the
US border. There are types of parcel holding facilities where we get to have
US shipping addresses, and we cross over to get them once they arrive.
This isn't a full solution to what you're looking for, but in Feb 2021,
Russell did say they would consider allowing sellers to open another buyer account
for certain cases like these. I'm not sure if this is the case right now
and I'd recommend reaching out to Help Desk to confirm first, but here's
the original message: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1253276

It is possible now, but it has to be in the same country, as for tax purposes
the cart prices are already calculated.

Option 2 - Each account should have a buyer and a seller address. Only when changing
the seller address, a new store verification is required.

There is an address book here:
https://www.bricklink.com/r3/user/addressbook.page
And also sellers specify their address in the management page:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/management.page
Store Address
This information is used to validate your business for legal tax and VAT purposes.
This address will appear on the Order Detail page, and the phone number will
be hidden from buyers.

Thanks for considering any of these options.

| Thanks for the reply.
The same country restriction is the problem here.
