I'm a seller who ran into what seems like a unique coloration issue that
I need help with. Buyer purchased njo0073 and when I inspected it closely before
packing to ship I noticed that one leg and one arm appear to be metallic gold
and not pearl gold like the other arm and leg. The leg decal (on both legs)
is accurate, and identical on both legs. I looked through the catalogue and
there isn't any dual colored legs in the gold colors...any ideas? I cancelled
the order, but I need to know if this minifigure is legit and a factory/production
glitch that allows me to still sell it.

its quite common for pearl gold, that figure in particular. The shades of pearl
gold vary extensively even within 1 figuire but all that is pictured is standard
pearl gold.

Both are Pearl Gold, in different shades though.

Metallic Gold is lacquered on another base color (usually Tan) while Pearl Gold
has the coloring throughout the plastic. They can thus easily be distinguished
when looking at the inside of the leg.

Pearl Gold is known to have a wide variety of shades, partly how the pearl colors
are produced.
