Could we please have the Bricklink Designer Program emails separated into a separate
mailing list? I get constant spam about it and the only option is to stop it
is to unsubscribe from the Bricklink active users mailing list.

Can you set up filters with your email? If so, filter any with that phrase.

I could, but that's a pretty blunt tool. There may be important news that
mentions the BDP. I want to get important site updates, but I don't want
to get updates on the BDP every day.

It’s not every day, it’s:
— Eh, you can submit to BDP.
— Eh, you can vote for designs.
— Eh, you will soon be able to pre-order.
— Eh, you can pre-order.
… for each of the 3 series per year. So 12 messages a year only¹

I just checked my trash. I've gotten 5 in February so far. On two days, I
received two emails about it. I got three in January. I got three in November.
So not literally every day, but it's a lot, and I can't unsubscribe without
unsubscribing from important updates.

Use an e-mail client application, like Thunderbird.
You can define ANY filter, like on the from field, but also title, and/or even
something in the body of the e-mail. So you can safely make a filter = go to
SPAM for anything you wish.

The problem is what would you be filtering on?
“BDP” or “Designer Program”? I think (again, I don’t keep the newsletters )
that they may have appeared in more general newsletters.

The from address, some text like "Sets are available until pre-orders reach
their limit or the pre-ordering window", etc.
I made 50 rules of specific e-mails I don't want to read, it takes a few
seconds, and doesn't exclude any other. I'm not talking about BrickLink,
I don't filter anything apart for classification in 10 different folders...

1. You have to find the 10 texts they use for the 10 different messages per BDP.
Hoping they don’t use a slight variation next time.
2. That text could still be in a more general newsletter (“and don’t forget…”).

That's exactly the problem. If I filter it out completely, I may miss an
important email that happens to mention it. The proper solution is for TLG to
separate the spam from important messages that are actually relevant to Bricklink.

Well, not a lot bute there sure are way more messages for BDP than for anything
else.
