Does anyone know if the dimensions of the hole where the hand attaches to the
arm are always the same all the way around?
The ones I look at from the naked eye all look about the same all the way around.

I bought some arms and when they arrived right away I could tell the color was
off. looking at them more, I can tell the dimensions that I mentioned above are
not the same. It's very easy to tell they are not close to being the same
dimension all the way around.
The arms do say Lego on them.

I also see some black flaws in the plastic on more than one of them.

I put them on my brothers table without saying anything, the first thing he said
was "are these fake". The color reminds him of what cheap dolls are made
from. That shiny plastic that has more pink than peach in it.

I just wanted to know the dimensions of the hole. I haven't tried taking
a picture yet.

If they say LEGO on them, then they are LEGO. Minifigure parts manufactured for
CMF sets and promotional polybags are often of lower quality [color off, plastic
is different], especially those from the earlier CMF years. Yes, they tend to
look like fakes, but they aren't.

Cheers,
Randy

Different dimensions too, don't forget that one.

The answer to your question about dimensions around the hand hole is "Yes,
they can be different". Older arms were perfectly round at the wrist. Newer
arms have a flat side on the inside of the arm that extends to the wrist.

Randy

I wish I could get my camera to focus on it for a picture. It's a lot bigger
on two sides.
I will keep trying.
