Hi all,
I gave out some coupons to some friends and family as part of a soft launch for
my store. One of them placed an order, used the coupon and the order showed up
for me and on their end. The coupon covered the full order amount. They selected
request an invoice for shipping, which I was just going to set as 0 due (they
literally live a block away). Now I can't set the payment as completed. I
generated the invoice and they accepted it, went through the payment process
on paypal, but got an error. They have double checked that everything is good
on their end in regards to their paypal and on the buyers end, their payment
section has a red box and won't allow a change. I also can't change it
on my end. Under shipping on my end, I don't have an option to select shipped
or complete. Any help here is appreciated. should we just leave it till Bricklink
cycles through and the order is removed?

Did they pay via the link on bricklink, or offsite through PayPal? If tax is
due then it must be through bricklink's link.

They followed the links through Bricklink. During checkout, they applied the
coupon which brought the total to 0 and thus no tax was applied. I do have a
Bricklink order fee that showed up on my side, so part of the process is working
atleast.

orders of a value of 0 can be tricky on bricklink, try having them pay 1 cent
on a new invoice for the order

orders of a value of 0 can be tricky on bricklink, try having them pay 1 cent
on a new invoice for the order

I confirm, you have to invoice a cent, be it paid, then it works.

The order fee applies whether the order is paid or not

Thank you everyone for the feedback! We solved the issue with the 1 cent paypal
charge and everything unlocked. Y'all are awesome!
