It's been two or perhaps even three years since my BL store was last open.
A number of changes in selling policy have been made since that time - the DSA
Agreement being front and center. Automated checkout is another. I am curious
as to whether or not my store could pass a basic "inspection". Is my
store ready as far as compliance is concerned? How would I even know? I guess
what I'm looking for is some kind of seller's compliance checklist, for
someone to point me to applicable help topics or, armed with my store PW, check
to see what I'm missing. I want to avoid opening my store only to run into
unintended disaster. I'd appreciate any assistance along these lines.

The DSA is simply nothing for US sellers at this time. They made us agree to
it for Reasons.

I can't check your IC as your shop is closed.

I don't believe there is any site wide 'compliance' for US sellers.
You need to have a functioning Onsite payment method in order for BL to collect
sales taxes.
You cannot accept other payments on transactions where sales tax is included.
So, COD and mail order payments are pretty much bygones.
USPS basic shipping is now called Ground Advantage so there is no First Class.
The best international rates are through the Simple Export Rate via Pirateship.com.
Incomplete minifigures are not allowed here and are removed by administration
when reported.
I don't think you need to admonish dishonest buyers not to be dishonest buyers.
Really, they are not likely to do anything different because you added a paragraph
to your splash. It's a bit off-putting really. You can't tell people
not to contact you if they think you have made a mistake. 'Do not tell me
I've made a mistake if I haven't made one' That's not a good
way to start a conversation and work out an issue.

Good luck!

Fixed what I could (first pass at any rate).

Okay! 2 steps forward and maybe 1 step back.
Ground Advantage is now the standard USPS shipping method for all packages. So
you need this for domestic orders.
First Class International still exists but runs from $20-30 even for the lightest
weight and so is no longer economical. ( The Pirateship suggestion was just an
inside tip to help you.) There are more rules and specifics you must learn if
you are really going to ship to the EU regarding tax and IOSS data.
I don’t see a shipping method for domestic orders for Instant Checkout.

This is a good reminder as I really need to update my terms and shipping rates
as well. I can’t believe I have to charge $5.25 for 4oz package domestic. I miss
the old days.

I am unsure how to fix the Ground Advantage as a shipping method problem. I went
to shipping under Store Settings and see no method for selecting this.

You have to add it as a Shipping method. Here's what my Shipping Methods
page looks like.

Para 5 & 6. No disrespect but I actually cringed reading it. "i don't
normally", "I may", and so forth. Be a bit definitive you have described
mud that can be consumed as chocolate. It all went downhill for me from there.
I wouldn't make a purchase under those terms and I am a first class moron
that would buy almost anything providing the terms were simple and understandable.
I dont like to guess.
Buyers know what they want and how they want it, if you feel you may have to
use a box, extra packing, tape or anything else, just jack up all your prices
by a few bucks.
All that money order stuff, buyers know they have to remit. Why confuse the issue.
Paypal/Stripe/Bank transfer. If they cant do one of them you should be doing
business with them anyways.
Respectfully, you will be the creator of your own disaster.

Fixed a lot of it. To what degree, I am unsure. The offending language is out.

It was not "offensive". It was more like "what did I exactly just
read". You asked for help because you were unsure, that is perfectly fine.
There are several people in here I ask for help in regards a part, process, sets
and so forth.
