I'm currently creating a MOC that will look better with stickers. I know
there is a way to create the stickers in designer, but I am unsure where to start.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

There’s several ways.  Here are the two simplest:

1. In the first dialog when you start PartDesigner, you choose “Create New.”
You’ll then be able to choose ‘Minifigure’ or ‘Part’ (or ‘From Scratch’), and
you’ll have an assistant (wizard) to help you decorate the parts.  There’s a
limited selection of parts in the wizard.

2. If, instead, you choose “Import Part,” you can then choose ‘3D Model’, ‘Studio
Part’, or ‘Decorated Part’.
The latter, ‘Decorated Part’, is the same as the wizard for parts in (1).
‘3D Model’ is if the part isn’t in Studio (or if it causes problems).
In ‘Studio Part’, you can choose parts from the Main palette or from your own
custom parts already in Studio.
That places the part in the build area.  You can then decorate it by using the
decal tool on the bottom of the toolbar on the left.
The rest is explained with pics in the (poor) help for PD: https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5878231614999-Tools#Adding_a_decal_to_a_part

The images must be in the PNG format.
They don’t need to be too big (100 pixels per stud is generally enough, 300 if
there’s fine details).

When the part is ready, you export it to Studio: https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5878310547863-Export-to-Studio
(The ‘BL Item Number (Optional)’ is to enter a real catalogue ID, so that your
custom parts gets colour information and prices from the catalogue.)

Note that there’s a bug in Studio at the moment that prevents some decals to
show, or only partially.  It’s half-fixed in EarlyAccess, so it should be fixed
soon.
