Can anyone tell me why , if I look up a part and its price when I put it in my
inventory and look at that price guide on the listing form it is different??

I think it is because on the item page you have the box 'Group by Currency'
checked. If you uncheck that box the numbers should be the same.

One of the reasons could be for the Price Guide page there are settings that
modify the displayed prices and the averages etc - plus I guess your location
(member address) for tax, VAT...

The simplified price guide probably doesn't care about those settings.
And maybe not either your location.

As a seller, learn to use BrickStore, local, free open source, you don't
need to use those BrickLink pages, which also saves ressources

Brick store is a great tool. I wasn't aware of it and this will make my
life much easier. Thank you for the advice
