Hey all,
in the past (and also on random days) the search bar on the top would keep the
last category selection ("all items", "store items", "forum",
etc...) this was most useful when we were using the "my store inventory"
category.
Then a few months ago the bar started resetting after every search so we'd
have to both click the "my store inventory" on the dropdown menu and
then put the value in the search bar.

Is there anyway we can set it back to use the last dropdown menu items we used?
Is there a setting we can change either on Bricklink or on our browsers?
Thanks.

Hi,

Not sure if it’s supposed to work or not right now (there’s been threads telling
it didn’t work then, sometimes, saying “thank you it works again”) but I’d check
if the Preference cookies are accepted (https://www.bricklink.com/v3/cookies.page
there’s one click more than before to change the settings 🙄).

That worked, thank you, it just feels like they set back productivity settings
to users who choose 'accept only nessecary cookies' in order to have
them accept all cookies...

The necessary cookies are the technical mandatory ones for the site to work.
You don't have to accept that the site memorizes your preferences, it's
an option.
If you wish this you've to accept them.
There are additional cookies which are completely superfluous; you don't
have to accept them

So no, you don't have to accept all of them (and I don't).
