Some random thoughts...

This was the first set I have built that included all paper bags. It was a bit
weird because they are paper on the outside with a waxy layer inside (& obviously
not transparent). They are also perforated though it did not work very well.
Sets with this bag type will require extra diligence as I found that some small
parts became stuck in the corners and it was not visually obvious.

My biggest surprise from shopping today was seeing these paper bags used instead
of poly bagged sets. I think one of the 3 paper 'polybags' I saw was
Field Flowers #30701.

What are your thoughts?

Because of the plastic layer, the paper bags aren't automatically able to
be recycled in every location.

What are your thoughts?

I find it best to rip them open completely along the sides to flatten them out
to check for small pieces in the corners. And then they go to landfill whereas
plastic ones were reusable for orders or parts storage.

I guess the majority of consumers don't reuse them so it is probably a good
move in terms of resources but not necessarily waste.
