We just had a buyer request a quote for an expensive set.

The buyer then send a PayPal REQUEST for the quoted amount.

A pop-up on my phone asked me to Accept or Decline the REQUEST for money.

If I had Accepted - I would have Paid the buyer.

I declined, and politely messaged the buyer that they need to accept the quote
and then use pay button beside the order.

The buyer at this point cancelled the quote and said -- "I might have
to pass on this one"

tldr - buyer tried to scam me buy requesting the money on PayPal we quoted him

-- If this was completely innocent, I apologize in advance:

It happened to me once.

That can happen like here (Vietnam buyer?) especially when English isn't
their language, and/or confused on buying on Internet...

Be cool, it's Christmas
