I would like to ask for help with authentication of a LEGO Mr. Gold minifigure
from Minifigures Series 10 (2013).
The figure comes from a licensed LEGO retailer’s display cabinet.
The store describes it as a “replica / display item”, however the physical
characteristics seem to match an original Mr. Gold.
I am not selling it and I am only looking for an objective authentication
opinion from experienced collectors.
Photos included:
– front view
– bottom view of legs/torso
– close-up of head and torso print
– cane and diamond detail

Thank you very much for your time and expertise.
Shouldn’t there be an unpainted surface underneath the upperarm so the arm can
move without scratching the side of the torso? I thought the chrome golden C3PO
and this fig have this feature?
As you aren't a Seller here you can't "advertise" this.
Posting pictures of a very demanded item will make you get messages from other
members asking you to acquire this, directly.
Apaologizes if I misunderstood anything, but that's my opinion.

It is certainly a fake if the seller calls it a replica.
I recently held a genuine newer gold in my hands (in a plastic bag ha ha). That
one had lots of the internals that weren’t chromed so I reckon this is not real

Yea wouldn't you be able to see on the side of the torso where the arms were
positioned when it was chromed? I've had the chrome TC-14 before and that
was the case on that figure.

Also on the insides of the parts and the inside legs when closed.
