Hi guys!

I have a rare (I think) pre-release LEGO Billund test-market/sample set of 6988
(Blacktron II) in a white pre-production box for the Brazilian market.

The set was packed on 7/12-1990 at Lego's headquarters in Billund, Denmark,
by Anna de Fries (the set was released in 1991). It contains unopened hand-numbered
bags and other accessories + original manual attached to the lid, as was apparently
customary on these prototype sets.

The box has the original PTA label attached and the YS number is also visible.
I have taken the liberty of attaching a few pictures.

I really want to sell this set, as I think there must be some passionate collectors
out there who will enjoy it more than I do. But I'm a little unsure if I've
got anything attractive here, or what it might be worth. I hope you can help
😊

Many thanks in advance!

Stick it on ebay. Auctions are better than trying to come up with the "right"
price for this type of item.

It seems dry: no water leaking on it, so not from Le Louvre

Hehe, correct, not from the Louvre My husband got it, when he was an office
trainee at the international sales office at the Lego HQ in Billund in the early
1990s. It's been sitting in his mom's attic for the past 30+ years, and
we found it when we were clearing out the attic a couple of weeks ago
