I received this in an order - I had ordered #30104 but received this. It has
11 links. Both ends are hollow although my photo doesn't show it well.
When I search for chain, I don't see a chain with 11 links. I tried searching
for chain* and for "11 links" unsuccessfully.

I’d say it’s not LEGO: the links are cut; LEGO links are not cut, they are one
piece each.

Yeah that's fake lego alright. See how the chain links are "broken"
and not actual rings. Tell-tale sign of fake lego. I'd say ask the seller
for a refund / replacement.

I did contact the seller and he immediately did a refund.
