Has anyone used AI to figure out an exact list of which bricks are needed for
each page in a set of instructions? Page by Page in particular.

Have you asked your favourite AI that question?  Or if it could do it?  Or how
to do it if can’t do it?

*No, AI is not that advanced yet. Why don't you just look at the online instruction
manual?

*source: I tried it

I don't know how to do AI so I was curious how it might be used with Legos.
I can find instructions with pictures, but I have not seen a source that says
something like:
"For page 1, you will need 4 Light Bluish Gray 1x2 bricks and 2 Green plates
4x8."
Maybe that exists somewhere I just don't know where to find it.
Thanks

https://bricksfortheblind.org/ is doing that, but not with AI.

That is amazing - Thanks for letting me know about the organization.

Yeah nah AI is not that advanced. Curious though, why would you need to do know
this info?

I enjoy putting older sets (ie from the 1990's) back together again.
When putting them in the box, I thought it might be better to place the parts
in bags labeled by pages (from the actual lego instructions) rather than by color
(or shape). I use the Bricklink inventory to tell me what parts and quantities
I need.
But I have not found a site that gives me that information.

You can download the instructions from LEGO, or other sites for more vintage
sets, and follow what parts are needed per page. Although most vintage sets have
small enough part counts that you shouldn't really need numbered bags for
the set.
