Unbrick the things that have bricked Bricklink!

I've created a Firefox extension to alleviate some of the issues people have
been facing since the integration. I had planned to wait to announce this until
the extension has been approved by Mozilla, but apparently it can take several
weeks. So I'm presenting this here as a preview.

At the moment, it has two features: automatically accepting the default cookies
and entering 1984 as your birth year. I plan to add more improvements in the
future for general improvements to the Bricklink UI.

I appreciate any feedback you may have. This is my first browser extension, so
I'm still learning.

Installation Steps
- Visit the GitHub page at the bottom
- Click on Code, then Download Zip
- Unzip the zip
- In the Firefox address bar, type about:debugging
- Click on This Firefox
- Click on Load Temporary Add-on
- Choose the manifest.json file from the folder you unzipped

FAQ
Q: Is this available on Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.?
A: At this time, it is only available for Firefox. That's the browser I personally
use. Chromium support may be available at some point. If you're interested
in doing it yourself, feel free to open a pull request.

Q: Is this available on mobile?
A: No.

Q: How can I help?
A: The project is available on GitHub under the GPLv3 license. If you're
a developer, feel free to submit a pull request. If you don't now how to
write code, but you have ideas for new features, feel free to send me a message.
Also, feel free to submit bug reports on the GitHub issues page.

Q: What features may come in the future?
A: I need to have it enter the year on the login page. I'm also considering
an option to bring back personal avatars. This will probably cost me some money,
so I may open it up to donations before that point. I'd also like to add
options to personalize the UI, such as bringing back the original Bricklink theme.

I've created a Firefox extension

For an all time Firefox user, THANK YOU!

At the moment, it has two features: automatically accepting the default cookies
and entering 1984 as your birth year.

1) I don't care about this, no cookie login problem here - PC is online 24/365,
tabs permanently opened, so I'm not annoyed.

2) I can see a bug - what if we aren't born in 1984?

Thanks again from the FF community!

I'm glad we have some Firefox users out there. We need more people to support
Mozilla so we don't end up in a world where Chromium is the only browser.

This is a huge one for me because my browser clears my cookies and cache every
time I close the window. I don't mind signing in each time, but the useless
popups drive me nuts.

I thought 1984 would be an appropriate year given the circumstances.

Thanks again from the FF community!

Thanks for checking it out! Let me know if you have any feedback or want additional
features. I only spent about an hour on it yesterday, so there's not much
there yet, but it solves a couple of the biggest complaints people have about
Bricklink.

This is great! Since it's loaded as a "Temporary Add-on" how long
will it stay active?

Unfortunately, it looks like it disappears when you close the browser. I'll
post an update when it's available from the Mozilla store.

The extension had been approved! You can now install it from here:

Please let me know what other features you'd like to see to improve the Bricklink
UI.
