I have the same issue.
There's a big difference when I myself shop (regarding to my emailaccount)
and when I have customers who need my first attention.

So my dump emailbox is now my main emailbox for bricklink. Not happy with that

And as an extra present you probably now also lost all your insiders points for
having a business account connected to your Lego.com account.

As far as I know, you don’t “lose” your points: they are still there.  But if
you use them, LEGO can terminate your account(s).

But there’s the first big IF: IF your are company / registered (whatever that
means depends on your country).

Well, I’ve always considered those accounts lost by default.

Combining professional credentials with the LEGO.com platform has never struck
me as a smart move. If you have a KVK or VAT number—whether it's active or
not—you’re technically a company. And in my view, that means you're officially
registered.
LEGO.com now has several additional accounts that aren’t even intended for purchasing.
I must be missing something here...
Ugh, we’ve already been hit with spam—right after the merge

Yes and no: you can get a VAT number as an individual.
Though you now need to be registered (as an Entreprise Individuelle = auto-entrepreneur
= micro-entreprise in France, you get a “SIRET” / business registration number),
you’re still an individual, not a “moral person” (incorporated business).
And you can be registered for other reasons, other activities, than trading in
LEGO.  But as it’s on your own name, “you” are still “registered” for “some kind
of business.”

If I’m not mistaken, in some countries, no special registration is needed… but
you use your tax identification number.  So you are still on some list (“register”)
somewhere

What I mean is that the notions of “business” and “registration” are quite complicated
and fuzzy.

That was (badly) explained: “Your LEGO.com email will also become your primary
email address, which is where you’ll receive notifications after you merge accounts.”

One account, one email.

To prevent that, you need to create a second LEGO.com account.  You may also
ask the Help Desk to unmerge your account (bricklink@support.lego.com ).

To be clear, you have three choices:

0. Keep as it is.

1. Keep your accounts merged.  Change the email address to be the one you prefer
for BL.  And create a new LEGO.com account for your future LEGO.com purchases
with a different email address.

2. Ask to unmerge your accounts.  Create a LEGO.com account with the BL email
address.  Merge that new account with your BL account.
That way, your old LEGO account stays as it is, with its Insiders points and
order history.
But the problem is that the old LEGO account is StreamyBrick and you even though
you can change its nickname, you can’t reuse “StreamyBrick” for your new LEGO
account for some time (no one knows exactly how long).  So your new LEGO account
will have another nickname and it will become your BL username.  You won’t be
StreamyBrick on BL, at least for some time.
