BrickLink Sellers NEED and DESERVE an Urgent Update as to what we need
to prepare for and expect from the Lego Login Integration on the 18th of September.
We need to have a smooth transition to keep our customers happy. There isn't
even a banner stating this rather important event is coming!
I used to work in IT and was heavily involved in a worldwide Y2K project. We
would never have left so much unsaid so close to any major service change. Sellers
deserve professional respect and should feel fully informed about what we / they
should expect in the coming days / years.
We pay to use the BrickLink platform, so a professional support guide & latest
integration update should be a must so close to the actual integration. We need
to prepare fully, and we can only accomplish this if we know what to expect and
where Lego see BrickLink not just now, but in the future.
We shouldn't have to ask Google Gemini to make sense of this integration.
As paying clients (through % of sales) we need it from the source, Lego and BrickLink.
We are owed professional courtesy, otherwise speculation and uncertainty are
all we are left with; unless that's the point.
Dan Jezek and his friends built this Worldwide Lego Marketplace from the ground
up. BrickLink has become a professional entity of its own today for recycling
60 years’ worth of Plastic Lego Bricks back into the community. We are doing
a great service for the MOC builders of today, for the collectors and all the
other incredible Lego Fans around the entire 🌏 planet.
We started this hobby store purely because after helping build the James May
Lego House some years back. People were asked and donated tons of their old and
unwanted Lego to the project. Sadly, most of it could not be used. So, I researched
what happens to old Lego and the brilliant 'Dan Jezek' had already created
what was needed to recycle unwanted Lego back to the people that need it.
We can only hope that Lego are not going to shut us out of our own Marketplace.
There needs to be a recycling route; especially because Lego is plastic. Offsetting
recycled and the new is essential for the era we are living in.
So please, to save us all speculating about our beloved BrickLink and our future
here; and pure professional courtesy, please update us as to what is going on
and how are any changes are going to affect us now, and the future going forward.
Kindest Regards, with the greatest professional respect and love for both BrickLink
and Lego
