Looking to sell my store for $600. whats the best way to do this
No one is going to pay full price for a store. I believe the going rate for a
store sell off is 40% or that is what I can remember seeing in the not-too-distant
past. Someone correct me here if I am wrong.
You can advertise it in the sales section of the forum. Include everything that
you are selling. IE: All Lego part inventory, any shelving or storage, any
equipment like scale, and anything else you want to go that is part of your Lego
store. Make sure that you have a list of your inventory that you can e-Mail to
whomever buys it all. I believe most people download an xml. file of their inventory.
Again, please correct me if I am wrong.
You may want to have a ballpark figure of the weight in case someone wants you
to ship it.
OR close your store down, take pictures of everything you are selling, and list
it on another marketplace. Maybe this way you will get your asking price.

As stated, the going rate for a store inventory is around 20-30%, sometimes 40%
but that is very rare. A good 20% of your store value is in minifigs from a brand
new set. That is going to drop that $600 down to less than $400, so I'd give
you a rough selling estimate around $120-$150. But that is just my ideas. I'm
not looking to purchase right now. If you plan to sell on BL, you must do it
through BL.
Your store inventory as of the writing of this message isn't worth $600.
I would expect about 20% and I'll explain why.
As a store owner, I will only buy sets that part out at 2x. So $100 set will
yield $200 worth of parts and minifigs (and minifigs sell a lot faster and you
have very few).
So to acquire $600 in store value, I'd spend $300. That's on new parts
that haven't been picked through yet. So I think $150 is about right.
I'll also state that I'm not looking to buy either, just helping you
see the buyer's side a bit more.
